Coming from a business family, I always wanted to be an entrepreneur. After graduating as a Company Secretary and worked in areas like Recruitment, Training and Development as well as Employee Counseling for around 3 years, I was still looking for something where I can put my heart and soul.
As far as I remember I always wanted to work with People, Fashion, Clothes. There was nothing more than Fashion Designing or modeling which was available as a career.
I knew then that not only I should be passionate about what I do but I also wanted others to be, too. I wanted my business to do something that helps other people find their confidence and make them realize that everyone can look good and feel special.
I’ve always loved clothes, from a very early age I loved dressing up, meeting new people and socializing but nothing was clear until I heard about Image Consulting. The day I got to know about this, I immediately realized that this is what I was looking for but unfortunately it was not available in India.
As Image Consulting Business Institute (ICBI) was the first institute in India with the strong curriculum I immediately enrolled myself for the first batch in Delhi. I was very excited and was confident that this institute will help me to shape my thoughts and dreams.
Let’s face it; your perception of yourself has an enormous impact on how others perceive you. Perception is reality and the more self-confidence you have, more likely it is you will succeed.
The best part to be an entrepreneur is you can design and live your life the way you want. I have an extremely supportive and encouraging husband. My family and friends are an integral part of my life and I spend a lot of time with them. I do Yoga regularly, which keeps my mind and body healthy.
As an Image Consultant, I am working with Individuals like first generation Entrepreneurs, Corporate Professionals, Celebrities, Cricketers and Politicians. I do training with Corporates and Institutes and also a part of Beauty Pageants like Mr. India Worldwide 2013, Mrs. India Worldwide 2013 and Miss North India 2014, and currently also working with a Magazine as a Fashion Director. So far this journey has been quite enriching and satisfying and with the help and support of ICBI I have achieved all this, which I am extremely proud of.
