Delhi NCR based Image Consultant and Soft Skills Trainer Dr Shikha Singh was recently invited as a trainer to take a session on “Being Interview Ready – Be consistent and confident” the engineering students of IILM University. The programme was organised on 19th April,2023.
She emphasised that being interviewed does not mean that you have to be well versed only with your domain skills. She focussed on the ABCD -appearance,behaviour, communication and domain skills that help the candidate to stay ahead of others and has a higher probability of being placed in a good company.
By controlling and managing the various aspects of your communication skills, appearance and domain skills and further fine-tuning your interactions, you can easily improve your presentation and job appeal. She helped the students explore the right business etiquette for their dream job. She gave inputs to the students to strengthen their vocal verbal communication, use right body language, interpersonal skills and use the right form of dressing to create that right first impression on the company interviewing them.
It was attended by 70 participants.
The session went well and was well appreciated that immediately an offer of 6 more such training was made to the trainer.
