Blast from the Past
I commenced my professional career in 2006 as a software engineer, where I was working with the world’s largest HR company Aon Hewitt for six years. But, even with the wonderful promotions and pay check I could feel the element of happiness and accomplishment missing somewhere. Also, after being blessed with a baby, it was becoming all the more difficult to manage on both the fronts with the guilt of not being able to justify either of them.
Then it all Changed
When I came across the ICBI courses, it struck me as a brilliant way to add on the technical skills to what I really loved to do (having a flair to dressing and fashion) and shine as an entrepreneur. The transition to be an Image consultant came smooth enough as the icing on the cake; providing me a chance to share the knowledge and experience that I had grown with.
Before, I could imagine myself on the dice transforming others, I saw myself evolving with every session which till date remains the best take away for me.
Conquering New Horizons
To encapsulate my journey to be an Image consultant in one word would be “Recognition at all fronts”. With Image Consulting and Corporate Training there was no looking back.
Whether it got coverage in renowned newspapers, or Limca book of Records or being on the stage in a hall packed with audience of 150, or training veterans of India’s premium financial institution (RBI), every bit of it was like a feather in the cap and the journey continues.
It is always refreshing to have different strata of audience with every training- like cheerful kids for etiquette workshop, the enthusiastic IT freshers for ‘Campus to Corporate’ trainings, aspiring business owners for ‘business etiquette workshop’ and keen women for ‘dressing and styling workshop’. Every training is an experience in its self.
My #MoreThanAPayCheque moment
A lady had approached me when she was going through a rough patch in her life & her confidence was totally in shambles. She wanted to boost that and give a new meaning to her life. I took her through the vigorous dressing and body language makeover.
Post our session she said – “You transformed my life and I can never repay you for what you have done for me”. Her smile and words still ring in my ears and motivates me to do more.
