The Darkness of Self-Doubt
When I was 10, life started to feel overwhelming. I was caught in a cycle of self-doubt, fear, and constant anxiety, and I didn’t see a way out. It’s hard to believe now, but back then, the pressure seemed unbearable, and the light at the end of the tunnel was nowhere in sight.
At one point, I attempted to end my life.
As a child, I was confident and full of joy. I loved school, learning, and dreaming big. But everything shifted in the fourth grade when I was suddenly labeled 'lazy' and 'slow.'
The Weight of Labels
My teachers didn’t realize I was grappling with dyslexia, dyscalculia, and ADHD. Instead, they saw me as someone who wasn’t trying hard enough. Their words cut deep, and I began to internalize those labels.
At home, things weren’t any easier. My parents, though loving, were confused and embarrassed by my struggles. They couldn’t understand why their once-bright daughter was now falling behind. Every parent-teacher meeting was a source of dread, and I felt like I was constantly letting down the people I cared about most.
Even my cousins would tease me, calling me 'LD' (learning disabilities) because I had to attend extra classes for my learning challenges. I felt like I was failing on every front.
The Turning Point
The stress and fear became overwhelming until one day, I reached a breaking point. But something changed when I passed by a church and saw the words, 'The Miracle is Within You.' For the first time, I realized that maybe, just maybe, I had the power to change my own story. I didn’t have to be a victim of my circumstances; I could be the hero of my own life.
From that moment on, I decided to fight back. When I moved to a new school, I found teachers who understood my challenges and encouraged me to explore my strengths. I discovered talents I hadn’t recognized before—in sports, art, and theater. Slowly but surely, I began to rebuild my confidence.
Discovering a New Path
At 19, my life took another turn.
My mom, always supportive, introduced me to image consulting. Initially, I thought it was just about clothes and makeup, but I quickly learned it was so much more. Image consulting is about helping people feel good about themselves, inside and out. It’s about embracing who you truly are. This was my opportunity to turn my past struggles into a purpose.
I saw image consulting as a way to help others who, like me, felt different or out of place. I wanted to show the world that people with learning challenges aren’t just capable—they’re extraordinary.
Rising Above and Making an Impact
As I pursued my passion, I became India’s youngest internationally certified Master Image Consultant. My journey has taken me around the world, working with top companies like BCG Consulting, Qatar Airways, and BMW India.
I’ve been honored with awards such as the Global Excellence Leadership Award by IMPA 5 times in a row and the Business Excellence Award twice! I’ve even had the privilege of sharing my story as a TEDx speaker—twice too!
After transforming the lives of over 20,000 people, my goal today is simple yet profound: I want others to understand the impact of self-image on their personal and professional lives. Self-love and self-care aren’t luxuries—they’re necessities. When you truly love yourself, everything changes. You become more confident, your relationships improve, and you start living with purpose and joy.
Embracing the Miracle Within
If there’s one thing my journey has taught me, it’s that the miracle really is within you. No matter how dark things may seem, you have the power to change your story. I did, and so can you.
My life, once filled with uncertainty, is now a testament to the strength of the human spirit. Every day, I strive to help others find that same strength within themselves.
Remember, your struggles don’t define you; your courage to face them does.
